
Camps
The Foundation development camps are held during the school holidays with the aim to develop and improve the skills of the young rugby players.
One of the key objectives of the camps is to help sport at grass roots level, ensuring that the youngsters learn some real rugby and lifestyle skills as well as enjoying themselves. Each camp is attended by Keighley Cougars players, who pass on their rugby experience and skills to the attendees.
Girls Development Rugby Camp
⦁ Ages: 11 – 16
⦁ Gender: Girls Only
⦁ Length: 1 – 2 days
This camp is perfect for girls of all abilities looking to develop their skills and progress their rugby league journey. We aim to create a safe, fun and professional environment to advertise rugby to young women and enable them to develop their core rugby skills.
The camp will focus on the following fundamental areas:

⦁ Spatial Awareness
⦁ Team building
⦁ Decision Making
Boys Development Rugby Camp
⦁ Ages: 11 – 15
⦁ Gender: Boys only
⦁ Length: 1 – 2 days
This camp is aimed at developing players’ understanding of the game through a range of games and practises.
